Developments
in science, human consciousness hold promise of new discoveries, better world
Steve

Ongoing
discoveries and developments in the fields of quantum physics, human psychology,
biology and medicine, communications, anomalous phenomena, ecological and environmental
sciences, technology and other areas are often interesting and helpful.
Sometimes,
these create hope and new opportunities to make the world a better place.
They
can also trigger concerns, discomfort and anxiety. These can be useful feelings
that motivate us or provide insight.
Sometimes
new information is challenging to understand and may result in denial, ridicule
and a reluctance to accept things outside of our normal awareness and knowledge.
These
factors all seem to be very natural. This is simply human nature.
Learning
about what is happening in our world and being open-minded about the possibilities
while at the same time keeping our feet on the ground and remaining
down-to-Earth is sometimes a challenge.
GATHERING
INTELLIGENCE
We
learn about various aspects of current events through all kinds of news and media
platforms such as TV, radio, films, books, magazines and the Web as well as friends
and family, professional associates and even from our internal intelligence.
The
serious problems that humans are dealing with globally are well known to us: war,
hunger, poverty, disease, suffering, greed, corruption, injustice. These are painful
and troubling realities.
Some
of the developments and discoveries we are now finding out about might help resolve
these challenges. In fact, many of these trends are clearly already underway.
Below
are just a few of many examples:
-
The U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is funding research
in biology and medicine to understand how certain creatures regrow severed limbs.
Regrowing amputated human limbs might be within reach.
-
Research in genetics and the DNA helix is resulting in new understanding of disease,
helping design new medicines and contributing to discoveries about the human race.
-
Studies in psychology and consciousness have determined that we actually do have
a sixth sense and capacities for extrasensory perception (ESP) as
well as other surprising and helpful abilities. Research such as the U.S. military
and intelligence services Project STARGATE into anomalous cognition
and remote viewing have yielded very significant results. University
researchers and other investigators have also made progress in these areas.
-
Quantum physics research is resulting in interesting views about time and space,
gravity, other possible dimensions, the very nature of our existence and how things
may work quite differently than we currently understand.
We
are exposed to these kinds of developments all the time and there is a lot of
information out there about them if we just take a look and open our minds.
For
example, this past spring a movie called THE LAST MIMZY was out in theatres. This
family film explored several aspects of quantum physics theory, time travel, genetics,
ecological disaster, paranormal phenomena, special human abilities and other interesting
subjects.
And
now, the new HBO show John from Cincinnati is exploring similar aspects
of emerging developments. This series has already demonstrated in the initial
episodes that there is an understanding within the shows creative team about
current research and discoveries.
In
fact, John from Cincinnati seems to include elements such as creative
content, location and other dynamics that are in sync with many efforts to communicate
interesting understanding about our everyday realities and possibilities on the
horizon.
OPEN
MINDS, OPEN HEARTS
What
are some of the topics of research and exploration that we read about, kick around
in discussions and see in creative works like THE LAST MIMZY and John from
Cincinnati?
What
is science or science fiction? Accurate intelligence information or fantasy? Wishful
thinking or unrecognized reality?
Below
are a few of the questions many people are investigating:
-
Are unusual coincidences we experience actually synchronicity? That
is, are they more than random coincidence? Are there connections we dont
understand?
-
Can we heal illness and injury with our minds, and can healing energy be transferred
through prayer, the power of consciousness or other methods?
-
What is the potential of research into anomalous cognition and remote viewing?
The U.S. military and intelligence services efforts in these areas were
directed toward defense matters. What other objectives can be achieved using these
natural abilities?
-
Is there an afterlife, Heaven? Is it simply another dimension in physics, in Nature?
Are our departed loved ones actually closer to us and our world than we might
think? Are they and angels actively involved in what is going on here
on Earth?
-
Are discoveries into and insight about quantum physics indicating that there is
a larger, greater intelligence that is somehow guiding us, coaching us and helping
us toward some brighter future? If so, how can we help this force or intelligence?
-
Are there other surprising phenomena and information that, though difficult to
digest and accept, we are able to learn about and deal with in intelligent ways?
-
Can we hope for and help facilitate miracles or at least very positive
outcomes that will help us resolve the many problems the human race currently
faces? Can we understand anomalous phenomena enough to assist in facilitating
a breakthrough of some kind? And if so, how would this manifest itself
or emerge?
Good
and interesting questions. And there are some answers out there to them.
Many
dedicated people are working to make progress in these and other important areas.
The significant potential for positive results is something that can be highly
motivating.
If
we open our minds and hearts, we may find that we are participating in a wonderful
effort that will lead us to more discoveries discoveries that will change
the world.
