Jupiter
vows to get respectable in capable Capricorn as 2007, the "I'll try anything
once" year slips into history. If you like to work, 2008 will pay off richly.
If you don't...suck it up, this too shall pass. Meanwhile, Mars continues to backpedal
in Cancer while Venus flirts in Sagittarius. On a long-term note, Saturn, the
consummate disciplinarian, sits in Virgo. All of us will feel major shifts somewhere
in our lives.
ARIES
(March 19-April 18) Lucky Jupiter and transformative Pluto sit in your fame house
throughout 2008. Watch a good thing get better as a mere job or pastime morphs
into power and glory centering around you. Circle April 5 on your calendar: the
day you decide what it means to be a Ram. The picture clears Oct. 14 and 2008's
faraway holidays twinkle brilliantly. Lookin' good, Ari, lookin' good! Luck and
expansion is the name of the game for you this year.
TAURUS
(April 19-May 19) Perspective, as well as knowledge, comes from travel or advanced
study this year. You'll want to evaluate an intimate alliance and its impact on
your future. What promises to evolve is a new lifestyle, possibly in another country.
Space and reflection become increasingly important as the year progresses and
you step into the limelight. On May 5 a decision shapes your life. Look for results
around Oct. 14. Your challenge this year is to be patient with the small stuff.
The reward is karmic.
GEMINI
(May 20-June 19) The heavy emphasis in 2008 focuses increasingly on joint finances.
One way or another, heavy-duty hormones are involved, also where and how you live.
On June 3, a major financial decision that impacts an up close and personal alliance
will dramatically shape your life. You see dramatic results Dec. 12. Minerva predicts
a cool Yule.
CANCER
(June 20-July 21) If not already "taken," a candidate will appear in
2008. This is a happy, expansive time for Moonkids. Whoever called you a Crab!
People are more apt to take you for a Leo. As 2008 gains momentum, contracts come
into play. You'll benefit from one-on-one relationships. Make a decision July
2, then watch for surprising results mid-January 2009. One thing's certain: Next
Christmas will be a lot more fun than this last one.
LEO
(July 22-Aug. 21) Face it, Lionkids, you do enjoy your comforts: vintage wine,
silken cushions, lush gardens. Unfortunately, the wherewithal isn't always there
to the degree that you'd like to be accustomed to. Not to panic! Better days are
coming. Saturn is a Scrooge type who takes time to get with the program. The networking
you do nowspiritual as well as professionalwill pay off. Look for
insights Jan. 22. Aug. 1 is karmic. Come 2009, expect to have dramatically altered
your life circumstances.
VIRGO
(Aug. 22-Sept. 21) Where has all the fun gone? You may well ask. Saturn, the so-called
Dean of Students, head of the Department of Walls, Boundaries and Rules is sitting
in your sign. What can Minerva say? You're learning lessons. The full moon in
your sign on March 21 is a wake-up call. Home and family decisions made Aug. 30
will affect your entire life. Nurture yourself, Virg, take yourself seriously
but don't beat yourself up about anything. This is the year for enlightened self-interest.
LIBRA
(Sept.22-Oct. 21) Home is where your heart is this year. One would ALMOST take
you for a Cancer as you merrily buy and refurbish homes, mend fences and parents,
can peaches, join the PTA, etc. Sound ho-hum? You won't think so when you see
the results. The show gets rolling around the full moon in your sign March 21,
a spring break you never expected. Toward fall you not only have new young energy
in your lifevery possibly love energybut a creative interest that
takes off big time. Make a big decision about yourself on Sept. 29 and reap the
benefits at year's end.
SCORPIO
(Oct. 22-Nov. 20) Opportunities to make a name for yourself abound throughout
2008. The key lies in wordsmithing. Jupiter's year-long rampage through your communications
house offers nonstop possibilities. Make an important decision April 10 when the
Full Moon explodes in your sign, then expect a startling reprise (and pleasant
surprise) on Oct. 28.
SAGITTARIUS
(Nov. 21-Dec. 20) As a never to be forgotten year fades into history, you recognize
that the year-long Jupiter transit has changed you forever. Now's the time to
take what you've learned and achieved and consolidate those gains. Financial insight
comes on June 18. Expect to reap the benefits Nov. 27Thanksgiving day! This
is a money year for you, Saj. Make the most of it.
CAPRICORN
(Dec. 21-Jan. 19) Jupiter, the expansive godfather of the Cosmos hangs in your
sign throughout 2008. At his side stands powerful Pluto. Already you feel this
expansive influence. An old personality structure is falling away. Time to go
with your passion, expand and fly. The decision-making opportunity afforded by
the new moon in your sign on Jan. 8the first new moon of the yearcan
be the most important of your entire life, unless you count 2008's last one on
Dec. 27, also in your sign.
AQUARIUS
(Jan. 20-Feb.17) Though much of 2008 is prep time, the 2009 results are worth
it. Take advantage of the new moon in your sign Feb. 6 and consider this a preview
of exciting things to come later in the month when the Sun, Mercury and Venus
rendezvous there. Saturn remains a heavy-duty dude in your house of mutual funds
through 2008, reminding you of the old "neither a borrower nor a lender be"
adage. The full moon in your sign, Aug. 16a lunar eclipse yetcan easily
be the most important of your life. Expect to go boldly where no Aquari has ever
gone before!
PISCES
(Feb. 18-March 18) 2007 found you thrust into the limelight in some unexpected
manner. Now, as the world turns, your own private drama expands further. Expect
a dream to literally come true in 2008. A friend (or friends) will be involved.
In other words, it's one of those not what you know but who things. (Get out your
address book.) What you do on March 7 can change your life forever. Come Sept.
15, you'll celebrate yourself.
