France
believes in Welsh ghosts
3/8/2007
French
television's main news programme, Soir 3, last night (Thursday) devoted three
minutes of air time to a house in Mold which is said to be haunted.
Plas
Teg in Pontblyddyn, near Mold, is alleged to be haunted by hosts of ghosts, including
the notorious Hanging Judge Jeffreys.
Members
of the Cheshire Paranormal Society hold regular vigils there and claim seeing
several spooks.
Some
mediums are said to have fled the 17th century Jacobean mansion because they were
scared stiff.
French
TV showed ghost hunters checking the "freezing" temperature of the house
with thermometers and meditating in silence to receive spirit messages.
No
ghost turned up, but French TV's final shot of the place showed a mirror clouding
over, which might have been a camera trick ... or else ...
