Unexplained objects

It was a hot summer afternoon and I was 8- or 9-years old. I was in my parents' bathroom on the upper level of our house near Sarnia, Ont. The house is surrounded by a cornfield and we live in a vast rural area.

A black spot was hovering in the distant, blue sky, remaining stationary for hours. I looked through binoculars at it, but couldn't make out any details. My family also saw it, but I'll never know where the flying object eventually went. My 8-year-old attention span wasn't prepared to watch it for such an extended time.

Was it an alien UFO I saw? I'm sure it may have been, despite the fact my vague account sounds like many others out there.

Aliens, the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot... seems there are a lot of unexplained creatures and phenomena roaming our Earth.
