UFO Investigators in Stephenville Seek Images, Video & Witnesses

They're
back. UFO investigators have descended on the town of Stephenville, Texas and
they are planning on taking a very close look at what at least fifty witnesses
say they saw in the West Texas skies on the night of January 8. It was just after
dark when people began seeing strange lights in the sky. Some have described it
as a craft, and others claim that military fighter jets were chasing whatever
was moving through the sky.

The
military claims they have no record of any activity that night, so they deny chasing
down any craft, or even taking a look at any strange objects or lights in the
sky. As usual, government officials are trying to dismiss the witnesses saying
that their eyes were playing tricks on them and a plane probably fooled all of
them.
Few
are buying that story. According to the Houston Chronicle James Huse saw it and
is certain that it was no airplane. "I know what an airplane looks like.
I know what a helicopter looks like. This wasn't an airplane or a helicopter.
This looked different than anything I had ever seen," he told the newspaper.
Then
what was it? That's what the investigators will try to find out. They are ready
to ask questions and try to confirm the sighting as unexplainable or debunk it
and join the government in saying it was just an airplane and a sunset mirage.
If
you are expecting quick closure you likely won't get it. The Phoenix Lights (pictured
above) are over ten years old and had hundreds of witnesses and three separate
videos and many believe that remarkable sighting has never been explained to any
degree of satisfaction. Add to that the particular group that is now in Stephenville
is called the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and they say they won't have a report
ready for a year.
And
many sky watchers consider them skeptics and debunkers though the stated mission
of MUFON is the scientific study of UFOs for the benefit of humanity through investigations,
research and education. if any of the witnesses have any legitimate photos or
video, they will want to come forward.
