UFOs,
Disclosure and Distraction

I
am intrigued by conspiracy theories, absolutely drawn in by the alternate ideas
of known events. The conspiracy theorists are usually described as the lunatic
fringe, nut jobs or the ever popular tin foil hat wearers, but I have found that
some of the ideas I thought were purely conspiracy are beginning to find their
way into the public pool of ideas, global warming or climate change, missing honeybees,
North American Union FoxNews.com and now UFOs? FoxNews.com and Chicago Tribune
The
disclosures in the UFO community are coming fast and furiously, each claim more
bizarre than the last and many are stepping away after years of chasing ridiculous
tales that lead nowhere. It is believed by many that odd fringe groups and shadowy
government types are spreading rumors and disinformation to keep the seekers distracted
and far from the truth.
Recently
there has been a big push for disclosure as various countries begin declassifying
documents and allowing the public access to long held secrets, subtly perhaps,
easing us into a much bigger disclosure down the road. And of course, TV and movies
have never been shy about showing us possible scenarios of how a meeting with
our galactic siblings might play out. And as much as I believe there is more to
the Universe than we know, I think many in the UFO field are being led astray.
As
I study the news and listen to the words and then see the arguments occurring
on the political fronts, I get the idea that I am watching a well-rehearsed play
leading to an inevitable conclusion. Not that I know the conclusion, but speculation
is high across our country and abroad, people seem to sense that something
is occurring and this elusive something is going to be big. And many
seem to think this big event is coming from space. The sightings of strange lights
or odd craft in our skies are coming in daily to sites like UFO Casebook and Mutual
UFO Network, sparking imagination and conversation.
And
as I see the mainstream media begin to report UFO sightings, I have to ask, why?
According to a statement by Dr. Carol Rosen, a Space and Missile Consultant to
a variety of companies, organizations and government departments, a plan has been
in the making for decades to increase defense spending by increasing our fear.
She claims there was a plan in the 1970s to first engage in the Cold War, then
the War on Terror, followed by a possible asteroid threat, but the final card
would be the threat of an alien invasion. And of course, in the 1990s the Canadian
journalist Serge Monast released his findings of NASAs Project Blue Beam,
which basically laid out the same idea of a staged alien invasion to implement
the use of weapons in space, but also as a means to create the one world government
and religion whispered about in conspiracy communities.
Many
UFO believers, many New Age followers and quite a few Christians are being led
to believe that their salvation is coming in the form of a space ship and they
are hungry to meet their new leaders, but I am suggesting that this is a deception
wrapped in a riddle. I dont know if aliens exist, Ive never seen one,
but my gut tells me that any UFOs or aliens we see in the near future will not
be concerned with our best interests. And in all likelihood this onslaught of
new disclosures is just another way to keep the lunatic fringe distracted, like
a baby with a pacifier.
As
I study the message boards and forums on the Internet I see that many are predicting
gloom and doom this summer and although the reasoning behind these thoughts and
the form of catastrophe changes, the steady thread is that we are about to experience
a life altering event. Some believe that with the occultish nature of some of
our leaders they will be unable to resist the date 7-7-07 to pull off their next
nefarious plan, others believe that planetary alignments, solar flares and space
waves will cause changes in the middle of July and August.
Some
say that the energy of the average citizen has altered and that it denotes the
calm before the storm. Others believe that our leaders are seeking a way to knock
us back into our place, frustrated by the fact that the people are waking up and
all the calls placed from the population over the immigration bill prove that
we are beginning to understand our role in changing this country. Some speak of
earthquakes, tidal waves and weather warfare here in the states and globally.
Many believe the war with Iran will start within weeks and nuclear arms will be
utilized. And illness seems to be a big seller this summer from Avian Flu to Morgellons
disease. And some even suggest that the schedule of Blue Beam has been moved forward
and will happen any day.
So
many ideas and so much fear has been unleashed, whether listening to talk radio,
network news, conspiracy sites or alternative media, the fear card is being played
on every level and I wonder what end result is desired. I have heard the biggest
battle occurs in the mind and it seems every outlet has our gray matter in their
sights. But folks we must remember we have a choice, we dont have to eat
at the fear table and honing our intuition and learning to read between the lines
might be the smartest move we can make. We dont believe everything we hear
and there may come a time that we shouldnt believe everything we see either,
we are living in interesting times, keep the faith.
