(AXcess
News) Houston - The feeding frenzy by the media following the Stephenville, TX
UFO sightings has renewed the public's thirst to know more about the mysteries
surrounding the literally thousands of unidentified flying objects reported worldwide
which stretch back thousands of years and have been mentioned in writings before
the days of the pharos in Egypt and the birth of Christ.
Today,
with the advancements in technology and communications, the number of UFO sightings
has grown by staggering proportions, with many of the encounters researched by
scientific organizations such as the Mutual UFO Network, or MUFON, which is comprised
of numerous chapters throughout the world that investigate and report on UFO phenomena.
Following our latest story on the Australia UFO sightings we even heard from a
MUFON member down under. Hey, mates!
Friday
night we post that Australia UFO story along with five revealing photographs.
The reader responses were overwhelming! And so were those amazing Australia UFO
photos! But being an investigative journalist, I dug into it and found some interesting
facts - thanks in part to the many readers who e-mailed me leads - and I can only
say - keep sending me e-mails about your UFO experiences.
AXcess
News has given me the go ahead to produce a weekly column on the UFO Phenomena
in which I will continue to investigate UFO sightings, claims of alien encounters
and abductions, as well as the mysteries surrounding the many supposed government
cover ups going on around the world - and we found a great one for you UFO buffs
which takes place in Egypt where an ancient city was discovered that dates to
4,000bc - here again, some great photographs have been obtained and we'll be sharing
that story with you this weekend.
Our
findings on the Australia UFO sighting
First
off, the Australian press is pretty sick and tired of all the loonies out there
writing way-off stories about their culture and the aboriginal tribesmen. In our
Australia UFO story last week, I mention one in which a US-based UFO buff published
on her site that aliens had been visiting the tribesmen down under and that markings
found on some of Australia's more famous landmarks were made by aliens. Nothing
could be farther from the truth!
But
UFO sightings in Australia are quite numerous, though many can be explained away,
according to Dr Stephen Hughes, from Queensland University's School of Physical
and Chemical Sciences, says the mysterious Australian outback phenomenon known
as Min Min lights have fooled many people into thinking they're seeing a UFO.
"Min
Min lights are sort of a channeling effect of the different layers of air, which
actually channel truck headlights for hundreds of kilometers like a fiber optic
cable effect but in the air," Dr Hughes said.
Depsite
the .edu skeptics, I thought, "These Australian UFO photos are the clearest
images I've seen in a long time," and by the looks of them, they were anything
but Min Min lights - and I was right.
You'll
find several pages of revealing photos we've obtained that prove what the Australia
UFO sighting we wrote about last week really are and with each, a more detailed
answer on those findings. Here's our first revealing answer!
If
you take a good look at this image of the supposed Australia UFO sighting you
can clearly see a shadow near the center, which is marked so you can spot it.
See how the shadow leans out to the left? That's because its a radio tower for
the Emu Downs Wind Park near Badgingarra National Park.
Clive
Marks, Director of the Nocturnal Wildlife Research Party Ltd from East Malvern,
Victoria Australia wrote: [I am surprised that this image keeps doing the rounds
as a UFO. It is a remote area antenna facility - as far as I know there has never
been any mystery about it. The area has been cleared and leveled and the bright
areas at the apex are just solar reflection due to soil disturbance.
Hope
this helps. You can request a range of satellite images and aerial photographs
to confirm this - in case you think me a "gray" with too much time on
his alien hands.]
Another
reader said this wasn't the only UFO spotted that fit the earlier description
in last week's Australia UFO story saying: [In 1989 there was a huge and very
similar story from Belgium. Giant triangles flying over Brussels, showing up on
radar....huge as battleships or aircraft carriers. The Belgian Air Force called
a press conference about it and showed the images and radar scans, with audio
recordings of the pilots who were sent to intercept.
No
one could offer an earthly explanation. The EU promised to look into it and then?
Then the press died down and everyone forgot about it.
But
now with videocams there are more triangles being filmed..as well as discs.]
Well,
despite everyone's enthusiasm and similarities to other numerous triangle-shaped
unidentified flying objects seen around the world, our next revealing picture
is a ground shot of amazing clarity - see if you can identify the objects you
see against the skyline in this picture.
Here's
the final nail in the coffin for the Australia UFO story, a ground level shot
of the mysterious triangle most readers thought was a UFO.
This
photograph reveals plainly the wind turbines in the background taken at the Emu
Downs Wind Park, just 10 kilometers west of the Brand highway, which leads to
Badgingarra National Park.
So
ends the mystery surrounding the Australia UFO triangle images sent in last week.
I can only say that half those who replied to my requests to e-mail me - which
still stands, please keep your comments and personal experiences coming - thought
they saw a real unidentified flying object. But about a third said it was a brush
fire and you could see a radio tower and guide wires in the last Australia UFO
photo in last week's UFO Phenomena story. The rest said 'get real' and do some
digging and you'll see its a wind farm.
In
a way, I am disappointed as are many readers out there who believe our planet
is being visited by extraterrestrials. I only hope some day we can prove it. So
for now, let's keep investigating the UFO Phenomena and in our weekly stories
we'll look at some of the fascinating reveals and eye witness accounts as they're
reported on in my weekly column. Until then, keep watching the night sky and keep
a camera handy - you never know what you'll find if you'll just look up.
