Treating
Supernatural Phenomenon Via Hypnosis

KUALA
LUMPUR, July 4 (Bernama) -- Some people may find it hard to believe that the energy
harnessed from our mind can be used to cure diseases or phenomenon caused by supernatural
elements.
But
this can really be done, according to the founder of Simfoni Minda Academy (SMA)
Dr Sazali Ahmad.
He
said an individual's mind power, via hypnosis, can be used to "neutralise"
the negative energy sent by a force which is invisible to the naked eye.
"Many
in the society are not aware that most of the energy associated with traditional
belief is actually science," said Dr Sazali.
He
said many of the healing methods used in traditional treatment have scientific
background and explanation.
"Scientific
studies on supernatural beings like ghosts, santau and toyol all point out to
the mind power," Dr Sazali told Bernama here recently.
INTEREST
TO STUDY MIND POWER
Dr
Sazali said his interest to study the power of the mind came about after he observed
his father practised faith healing in Pulau Pinang.
"My
father, who died at the age of 91 years old, was an important individual in our
village due to his ability to cure diseases caused by supernatural elements.
"When
I was 10 years old, I followed my father to his faith healing sessions. To such
an extent that the interest in the traditional healing methods stirred within
me," he said.
After
learning the traditional healing methods, Dr Sazali began to study the "The
Malay Magic", penned by William Skeat. The book focuses on the existence
of ghosts, and other unearthly beings in the Malay archipelago.
Dr
Sazali later embarked on a research to study why and how these supernatural elements,
so feared by mankind, come into existence.
His
effort, "Mystic Craft & Mind Craft", was accepted as a thesis by
University of British Columbia, Canada that resulted in Dr Sazali getting his
PhD.
He
was also recognised as a doctor in hypnotherapy by the Canadian Professional Board
Of Hypnotherapy after he successfully brought to consciousness people who were
in coma.
COURSES
IN HYPNOTHERAPY
Apart
from treating people who suffered from diseases caused by mystical elements, SMA
also holds courses on hypnosis for individuals and corporate firms.
Dr
Sazali said some of these courses deal with issues like mental fatigue, trauma
and phobia as well as self-confidence.
He
said the other hypnotic courses focus on sports, entertainment and forensic fields
while the "Sales Magic" and "Corporate Mystique" are for the
boardroom people.
Meanwhile,
fields like forensic hypnosis and remote viewing, applied by the United State's
Central Intelligence agency (CIA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to
seek evidence and trace criminals, can be used to assist the police to trace missing
persons.
