Scientists
to Find Where Life Has Begun
Russian
and European scientists plan to cooperate in sending a mission of several space
vehicles to Jupiter and its satellite Europe. Landing module will search for life
forms on Europe.
This international project, named Laplace,
is a complex multistage expedition to Europe, main aim of which is studying surface
of Europe, where liquid water was discovered under ice cover.
Laplace
project is listed in the programme of European space agency for 2015-2025. Various
Russian space experts and researchers are invited to participate and already suggested
to add a landing module for searching simplest life forms on Jupiters satellite.
Europe is another promising site for possible discovery of life forms together
with Mars.
