Texas
UFO Sightings Blamed on DEA
By Armando

(AXcess
News) Houston - Dozens of people near the small Texas town of Stephenville claim
to have seen an extremely large UFO, perhaps a mile-wide, but rumors of another
sort were coming from sources who blamed the DEA for the Texas UFO sightings.
Today
being the 'day-after' the mysterious Texas UFO sighting, the residents of the
farming community now have to put up with flocks of UFO hunters who are descending
on the town looking for witnesses to the Unidentified Flying Object in the night
sky and hopefully some concrete proof of an alien presence, but what they're running
into is good ol' boy humor and a handful of locals who admit they saw strange
lights in the sky but can't really say more than that.
One
man said, "I heard tell my neighbor saw Jimmy Hoffa walking through his cotton
field last night after the UFO went by."
Another
source in town said, "blame it on the DEA, I heard they were burn'n a big
ol pile of marijuana outside town last night and that caused ever- body ta see
strange lights".
Outside
of conversations and quotes, no one from the Stephenville, Texas area was able
to produce any photographs or video taken of the mysterious lights over the night
sky that the press - worldwide - has hyped into a "Texas UFO Sighting"
frenzy of reporting. Even the Associated Press got in on the act and you can read
about in China or the UK. Yes, its UFO frenzy - Texas style.
Airforce
representatives say that no unidentified flying objects were reported on any radar
systems that cover the night skies over Texas and that most likely what Stephenville
residents saw were lights on a commercial jetliner.
Personally,
I like the one about the DEA burning a big ol' pile of pot. That could make people
see UFOs over the Texas skyline - if the wind was just right and you happened
to standing in its path.
