Stop
Sylvia Browne

While
I'm not generally in the habit of promoting other people's websites, I have to
say I am addicted to StopSylviaBrowne.com.
For
those who don't know, Sylvia Browne is a self-proclaimed psychic, best-selling
author, and weekly guest on The Montel Williams Show. Her abrasive delivery and
husky voice are just two of the trademarks that have made this woman so popular.
But what is the truth about her psychic ability? Is she worth the $750 dollars
she charges for a 20-30 minute phone reading? This site attempts to find the answer
to these questions.
Motivated
by her now infamously incorrect reading in the Shawn Hornbeck case, where she
told the parents of a missing boy their son was dead only to have him turn up
alive three years later, the site's creator Robert Lancaster examines the evidence
with a skeptics eye, presenting a pretty fair assessment of the evidence.
If
you're bored this weekend, killing time at work, or wondering if you should shell
out money on her books, lectures, study groups, or readings, then this site is
must stop for you. And honestly, how can you resist that graphic?
