Missing person: SFPD looking for at-risk man, 57

Have
you seen this man? San Francisco police are looking for Carl Vikstrom, 57, an
at-risk person who is missing from a residential care home on McAllister Street.
SAN
FRANCISCO - Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating an at-risk
San Francisco man who has been missing since Aug. 28, according to
the
San Francisco Police Department.
Carl
Vikstrom, 57, has a blood clot to his lungs and is in "high risk need'' for
his medications, officials reported. Vikstrom also takes medications for psychosis.
He
is described as a 165-pound, 5-foot-7-inch Caucasian man with white hair. He was
last seen wearing a dark blue jacket, gray shirt, blue jeans and a brown cowboy
hat.
Police
are asking anyone who locates Vikstrom to evaluate him medically and return him
to Victorian Manor Residential Home at 1444 McAllister St.
Anyone
with information leading to the whereabouts of Vikstrom is asked to call the San
Francisco Police Department Missing Persons Division at (415) 558-5508.
