Bigfoot
Researchers Set Up High Tech Gear
Bigfoot
researchers have arrived in Upper Michigan in hopes of finding proof the creature
exists. They arrived in Eastern Marquette County yesterday afternoon and began
unpacking high tech gear like night vision goggles, thermal imaging cameras and
digital audio recorders.
About
a dozen members of the scout team will be in the woods this week, with more extensive
exploration planned through the weekend. They're encouraging people who've had
a possible bigfoot encounter to help outline search areas.
"The
public can help if they have seen these things, or heard what may be their sounds,
or found their tracks," says Matt Moneymaker, the search organizer. "We
would like to talk to them about their incident, so we can plot those points on
a map, and that may help us with this expedition."
The
researchers will meet with witnesses this evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the
scenic turnout across from the Gitche Gumee Campground on M-28 in Chocolay Township.
