Retired
police officer still missing Peter
Christopher pchristopher@trinidadexpress.com Wednesday,
March 12th 2008 ONE month later, and there still has been no sign
of retired police officer Brian Lalla. His family, has many questions but, still
there is little or no answer from them.
"We
want answers, that's all what we want, and we are hearing nothing nothing,"
said Lydia Lalla, the missing man's daughter. On
February 12, the security guard left to drop off lunch for a co-worker. He and
the Mazda Familia station wagon, PCC 8510, he was driving on the day have not
been seen since. On
Sunday, relatives searched the forest at Cumberland Hill, St James where they
found a freshly dug grave. His
wife, Poorandaye Singh, 47, has been on edge, every report of a missing person
gains her attention but her trips to the Forensic Science Centre have brought
her disappointment. Twice
she visited the Port of Spain General Hospital, going to the bed of the very same
man, after being told by police he was an unidentified man who could possibly
be her husband. "How
long his picture has been circulating. What are the police doing, the least they
could check before calling," said Lydia Lalla, expressing her disappointment
at both the police and Pentagon Security Services, her husband's employers. Anyone
with information concerning Lalla's whereabouts is asked to contact Arima police
at 667-2191 or 667-3474. |
