I received a call this morning from KAREN who lives on Augusta Avenue here in St. Catharines who has requested the assistance of THE 'X' ZONE in the following case.

Approximately 1 year ago, Karen bought her son a bed from a family in St. Catharines who's daughter was killed in a snowmobile accident, approx. 1 year prior to Karen buying the bed. The bed was less than a month old when the daughter died. In the same snowmobile accident, the father of the child has been confined to a wheelchair.

When the bed was first brought into the house, toys in the room used to go on and off on their own, but little attention was paid to this since this was the same time that the family moved into their new home. However, within the last month her son started talking about a Monster in the bedroom and having unsettling dreams.

This morning her son said that he was talking to "the little girl" and she was "talking" to him about his pajamas and this is when the child ran from his room and told his mommy. Karen said that the apparition has been manifesting, according to her son for a month now and seems to be in the bedroom all the time. I asked about strange occurrences in the home since the bed has come into the home and in particular, since the apparition has been manifesting.

Karen stated that the bed is always warm. The two dogs that are in the home do not go into her son's room. Karen claims that when she is in the room she feels "different". Karen has given full accessibility to the house and her son through THE 'X' ZONE and I would like to have your assistance in this investigation.

WEDNESDAY, November 3, 1999:

07:56 am - I spoke with Karen and there was no activity last night. However, yesterday afternoon, there was wall trappings from the child's room. The Toronto Ghost Haunting Research Society and the Canadian Scientific Paranormal Investigations will be doing a thorough investigation Saturday, November 6. We will be featuring this paranormal investigation of this Saturday's edition of THE 'X' ZONE that will be live via realaudio.

THURSDAY, November 4, 1999

14:47 hr.. I spoke with Karen and she told me that Robert to Karen that "She wants me to go with her and her friends." When Karen asked where her friends her, Robert replied, "running a head of her." Robert also told his Mom that "She liked looking at his books," and that she had died before and the next time she comes back, he's going to "punch her in he eye and send her to heaven."

Gerard, Robert's 7 1/2 year old brother says there's some one telling him to do bad things... and he claims this person is the Devil." Karen puts this off to Gerard's activity problem and the fact that he goes to a Catholic church.

I will be joined by Matthew Didier of the Toronto Ghost Hauntings Research Society, Tamara Zyganiuk who heads the Canadian Scientific Paranormal Investigations a,COGECO television crew and ONtv News as we investigate this very strange paranormal event.

SATURDAY, November 6, 1999

At 12:00 all investigative partners and media partners met at the studios of 610 CKTB, 12 Yates Street, St. Catharines. Those in attendance were:

We met at CKTB and went over the information pertaining to the investigation. All equipment was checked and then we proceeded to Augusta Street in St. Catharines.

Equipment Used:

1. Toronto Ghost & Haunting Research Society - Audio Cassette Recorder
2. Canadian Scientific Paranormal Investigations - Digital Camera - Kodak
3. ONtv - DVC - high end professional
4. COGECO - Broadcast BetaCam
5. The 'X' Zone - RCA high end VHS CamCorder with multiple lens filters; magnetometer; compass; multi-meter (especially modified to detect electrical variations); VAS cassette recorder
6. Ashley - CLASSIFIED (at her request)

   12:46 - we arrived at the location on Augusta Street, and parked our respective vehicles in different locations as not to attract attention to the residence that was to be the focus of our investigation.

   13:00 - once again after checking all the equipment, we went to the house, in staggered amounts as not to bring attention from neighbors.

   13:10 THE INVESTIGATION STARTS: The home is a modest one in St. Catharines in the Facer / Augusta area off Niagara Street. A split level home with the living room, kitchen, three bedrooms and washroom. Downstairs there is a den, washing facilities and basic basement. The center of the investigation was focused on the 3 1/2 year old Rob, who told us that he has bad nightmares in his head (pointing to his head). The age of the youth at times made it difficult to understand what he was saying. He told us about the monsters, the "REX", He told us of a witch that rides a rocket past the moon. In the child's bedroom, there was a feeling of "heaviness" in the corner of the bedroom where the child's closet is located. In the closet is a box of toys that has a number of monsters / dinosaurs in it. The books on the child's dresser were the regular children's books - with one exception - on the very last page of one of the books, was a witch riding a rocket passing the Moon. Lady Ashley also felt the heaviness in the corner of the room near the closet. There was no activity in the house whatsoever that was registered by any of the equipment used. The interview did not differ from any of the information previously given by the parents and did not shed any light onto the investigation nor did it offer any new leads. Rob brought us into the room and showed us where the little girl came out of his mirror and where she sat on his dresser.

   One thing that was noticed was several of the appliances were not plugged in - including a photocell night light in Robert's room.

   The animals in the house did not act any different than other animals when visitors in the home and the dogs went in and out of Robert's room without hesitation.
