UFO's, ancient mysteries, ghosts and psychic power are some
of the phenomenon that will be explored at this week's 'X' Symposium, organized
by St. Catharines radio host and producer Rob McConnell. The
symposium of speeches, demonstrations and presentations will be held at the Parkway
Ramada Inn and Convention Centre, St. Catharines, Friday through Sunday. Best-selling
Chariots of the Gods? author Erich Von Daniken will be delivering the keynote
speech Friday night. At least 30 others are scheduled to appear in what master
of ceremonies Rob McConnell describes as an international gathering of "renowned
speakers, authors, lecturers and media personalities." Some
of the visitors will include David Shoemaker, who allegedly has pieces of crashed
UFOs from New Mexico and Giorgio Tsoukalos, chairman of the Archaeology Astronautics
& SETI Research Association from Ithaca, New York. Two
Niagara presenters are "Psychic Dorothy," a psychic, angel and spiritual reader
from St. Catharines and "Lady Ashley," a Niagara-on-the-Lake white witch. Symposium
subject matter will cover diverse territory from ghost hunting, Feng Shui, psychic
healing to astrology. For fee and scheduling information,
